Follow Mail Sport’s live blog for all the latest as Wales face Australia in their third game of the Rugby World Cup.

19:33, 30

Wales lead by seven

A big turnaround of territory there and Wales win the penalty with nothing coming from the advantage.

Anscombe… goal. A good deficit for Wales now.

19:30, 26

Chance wasted by Australia

Australia win a scrum penalty after Thomas stands in the scrum.

Leota carries it a long way. This looks good for Australia.

Great from Rowlands but then Wales concede the penalty.

Australia to kick… Donaldson goes for the corner. And a truly tragic throw gives it back to Wales.

19:24, 22

Anscombe scores this time!

Another Wales penalty from the scrum. Can Anscombe do any better this time…

Yes he can! Better!

19:22, 20

Anscombe misses the penalty

Lots of possession for the Wallabies here. Donaldson breaks through but his pass is poor.

Kellaway gathers from a bouncing ball. He’s fine.

Gareth Anscomb is struggling after a big hit at the other end but he’s fit. That would certainly have been a blow.

Clear penalty here for Wales, given away by Bell.

Anscombe hits the posts!

19:17, 15

Another penalty for Australia

Penalty Australia and it’s another kick for Donaldson. Straight… and it’s good. 7-6.

This is going to be a close one.

19:15, 13

Dan Biggar comes off

McDermott kicks forward and almost gets onto his own ball with Wales inadvertedly passing forward.

Dna Biggar is coming off here. Big news. Big for Wales. Anscombe is on.

Australia secure their first points

Donaldson kicks for Australia’s first points.

Biggar is fine but is struggling with his shoulder a bit. He stays on for now.

The deficit is four.

Good from Australia

It’s being reported that there are delays outsdie the ground with Wales fans still queueing to get in the ground.

Good from Australia now, five metres away on the left. Wales standing strong for now.

Wales pushing them back. Nawaqanitawase trying to get involved.

Some space for Kerevi… Donaldson… and Bell loses it late on! It’s a Wales penalty however.

Dan Biggar is down here…

Wales lead early on

A fantastic break from Morgan and Gareth Davies finishes it off to give Wales an early lead. Biggar kicks the rest.

Nerves for Australia. None from Wales. The national anthem rings out.

TRY FOR WALES!

An early penalty for Wales and they kick upfield for a lineout.

Biggar then kicks for another. Australia have possession but are camped in.

Kick-off!

A fantastic atmopshere for the anthems. The crowd is quite well split here.

And we’re underway!

Here come the teams

The teams are on their ways out.

Time for the anthems.

Boos for Eddie Jones – Alex Bywater in Lyon

Huge boos for Eddie Jones as the name of the Australian head coach is read out to the crowd here in Lyon.

Jones has caused fury ahead of this game after the Sydney Morning Herald broke a story today he had a secret Zoom interview to be Japan’s next head coach ahead of this World Cup.

Brilliant atmosphere building in the stadium.

This is a game Wales should win given the carnage in the Australian camp.

Dan Biggar’s column

Wales’ Dan Biggar has penned a column for the Mail on Sunday and it would be rude not to share it here.

He knows the size of the game and knows it’ll take a lot to be the Wallabies. But his side are up to it, he insists.

Old foes face off

Warren Gatland and Eddie Jones have been there, done it, seen it. Literally.

They’re facing off again tonight. And Alex has penned some more words on what it means.

They exchanged a few words in the week. Sort of. As you’d expect!

A must-win for the Wallabies

After their surprise defeat to Fiji, it’s win or bust for Australia and Eddie Jones tonight.

The head coach has been in fine form with the media this week and has been taking most of the blame for the poor result last time out.

He may not last too much longer in the job if they lose today.

A few words from Alex Bywater are below.
