Love Island’s Molly Smith has confessed her holiday to Dubai with boyfriend Tom Clare couldn’t come at a better time after she rushed to hospital with a mystery illness just days ago.
The reality star, 29, sparked concerns with fans after they noticed she had been absent from social media for almost five days.
And The Sun has revealed Molly has been taking some time to recover after she suffered a health scare in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A source told the publication: ‘It was a worrying night for Molly. She was taken into hospital in the middle of the night, but thankfully it was just a scare.
‘She’s now doing much better. Her trip with Tom couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s been a busy few weeks and she’s excited to relax and recuperate ready to come back fighting fit.’

Returning to Instagram she told fans: ‘Sorry for being MIA. I ended up in hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning so I’ve been a bit of a write off.
‘Finally had a little TLC and got my hair done so starting to feel a litle more like me again. I will catch up with properly with you all soon.’
And the star appeared in great spirits on Sunday as she and boyfriend Tom, who she won Love Island All Stars with in January, jetted off to Dubai on £15k flights for their first holiday together post-villa.
Passing the time before their flight took off with a Q&A, one fan asked Molly whether she was now feeling better.
Replying that the holiday had come at the perfect time, Molly wrote: ‘I’m getting there… slowly thank you for asking!
‘This holiday couldn’t have come at a better time, relaxation and some sun is very needed’.
The pair beamed in snaps as they settled down for the flight in their cosy tracksuits.
Wearing a blue Boohoo tracksuit, Molly beamed from ear to ear as she held Tom’s hand and he captioned the snap ‘My one’.

The pair were also asked whether they have moved in together. Looking suspicious, Tom quietly sipped his drink as Molly teased: ‘He already has’.
It comes after Molly told MailOnline that Tom was practically living with her anyway.
Gushing about their relationship, she explained: ‘You know sometimes when you think, ‘Is this too good to be true?’ I don’t like jinxing things but right now I can’t fault our relationship. Moving in together is the next step, we are practically living together as is… we just haven’t made it official yet.’
Molly also took a swipe at ex Callum Jones, as she admitted her new boyfriend treats her better than anyone she’s been with before and she can’t fault their relationship.
In an exclusive interview, Molly confessed the five-year age difference between herself and Tom used to ‘bother’ her but the Macclesfield footballer has proven to be more mature than her previous partners and even ticks every box on her ‘non-negotiable list.’
She was forced to live with her Love Island ex in the South African villa, confronting their breakup after three and a half years with millions watching, which she now says has helped her to move on.

And even after removing all trace of Callum from her Instagram profile this week, Molly insists there’s ‘no animosity’ or ‘hatred’ between them and she simply wants to focus on her new relationship.
Molly said: ‘I’m on cloud nine, I can’t lie. I didn’t go on the show believing I would leave with someone, I had no expectations, coming out with Tom… he’s everything I had been looking for. He’s so good to me. And to win the show was the cherry on top. You can’t plan it… and I’ll forever be grateful.
‘We have gelled really well together. We have got to know each other more and have been going from strength to strength… I feel like we’re both so happy. It has actually been one of the easiest transitions in a relationship for me.’
She continued: ‘Our age difference used to bother me, but I have been with people in the past who have been older and shown less maturity than Tom does… Tom for his age, shows so much maturity and he’s actually treated me better than anyone I’ve been with…
‘I made a non-negotiable list in September, saying this is it, when I next meet someone, I want them to be like this and Tom ticks all of it… age is just a number and if you’re with someone and it’s working, that’s all that matters.’
