The 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards are being handed out Sunday night.
Vanessa Hudgens is hosting the show, which airs live from Barker Hangar in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET (delayed PT), followed by the Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted, hosted by Tayshia Adams at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Both shows will be simulcast across BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nick at Night, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land and VH1 and will air internationally on MTV in over 170 countries. The MTV Movie & TV Awards will additionally simulcast on The CW.
Heading into the show, the most-nominated film is Spider-Man: No Way Home, with seven noms, followed by the HBO series Euphoria, with six nominations.
This year, the MTV Movie & TV Awards has also added two new categories: best song and “Here for the Hookup.”
Meanwhile, the Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted will recognize reality TV, talk shows and documentaries. RuPaul’s Drag Race tops this year’s Unscripted nominees with four nods, followed by Selling Sunset and Summer House with three nominations each.
The Unscripted awards have also added categories for best music documentary, best reality star, best reality romance and best reality return.
In addition, Jennifer Lopez will be honored with the Generation Award, while Jack Black will receive the Comedic Genius Award. Bethenny Frankel will receive the Reality Royalty Award during the Unscripted portion.
