Tom Lynch has limped off the ground, with a foot or knee concern, and Sam Banks has come on as the sub.

There’s just six minutes left and there’s a lot of tension and excitment filling the MCG.

Official attendance of the match: 45,112.

Richmond lead by 11.

Keeping things interesting! Shai Bolton has kicked a very important goal for Richmond.

It finished off a chain of play that stated with an Nick Vlastiun intercept. He’s been pivotal in defence today for the Tiges.

It extends Richmond’s lead back out to 9 points with just over 11 minutes left in this final quarter.

And just like that the Swans have gone back-to-back to close the game’s margin back down to less than a goal.

It was Tom Papley who popped it through from the pocket. And didn’t he love it.

There’s a fire under this Sydney side. Will Richmond panic or regain composure and some control in this match?

Richmond lead by 3.

Logan McDonald started the final term with his third goal for the day for the Swans, which importantly (for them) closes the margin back to 10 points.

Less than two goals in it in this final quarter, it’s anyone’s game.

Richmond lead by 10.

The momentum unexpectedly swung again in the third quarter, with Richmond – without the likes of Dustin Martin, Dion Prestia and Jacob Hopper – kicking five goals to one to surge to a 16-point three-quarter-time advantage over Sydney.

Adem Yze has lost his first three games in charge, but has a huge chance today to end that drought against the unbeaten Swans.

Tom Lynch kicked two of his three goals that term to launch the comeback, but he had plenty of help from Nick Vlastuin, Marlion Pickett, Jayden Short and Tim Taranto, who leads everyone with 25 disposals and five clearances.

Another Nick Blakey kicking blunder cost Sydney a goal, too.

Now, let’s see what the fourth has in store…

Richmond took back a good handle of the game in the third quarter with five goals to one to take a 16-point lead into the final change.

The Tigers, who were let down by their lack of pressure in their 30-point loss to Port Adelaide last weekend, have the dial turned all the way up now.

They pressed hard to start to the second half, which forced mistakes from the Swans and allowed them to create opportunities to score.

The Tigers are looking for their first win of the season, the Swans their fourth. We could be in for a huge final term.

The MCG erupted for Mykelti Lefau’s first goal in the opening half and came alive again for his second, just as the clock approached the midway mark of the third quarter.

Richmond are coming once again. They have kicked the last four goals of the game to put Sydney on the back foot.

It was just a few minutes ago Sydney were on a six-goal unanswered run but in a blink of the eye, Tom Lynch slotted through back-to-back goals, followed by a Liam Baker major.

The Tigers are back in front in this see-sawing game of fierce momentum changes. We’ve got an entertaining game on our hands.

Richmond lead by 4.

St Kilda midfielder Marcus Windhager has been handed a one-match ban for rough conduct on Essendon’s Sam Durham in Saturday afternoon’s clash at Marvel.

Windhager caught Durham high in a contest during the second quarter. The match review officer graded the incident as careless conduct, high contact and medium impact, which has triggered a one-match ban.

It means Windhager will be missing in action for the Saints’ clash with Richmond during Gather Round next weekend.

You can catch vision of the incident here, thanks to the AFL:

Ahh, so that “something” Richmond needed to conjure appears to be another Tom Lynch goal, which stopped Sydney’s run of six unanswered goals.

He took the mark very close to goal, really a given major, to close Sydney’s lead back down to nine points.
