Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis Presley, revealed that she and her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, welcomed their first child amidst the heartache of bidding farewell to her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, in January. While it remains unclear when the baby was born, representatives of the couple confirmed the news to People magazine. Smith-Petersen shared the revelation during a memorial service for Presley held at Graceland, where he read a tribute to Keough’s mother that she had penned herself. Keough, who was seated in the front row, is yet to share further details about their daughter.
The couple first met while working on the set of “Mad Max: Fury Road” in 2012, before dating officially in 2013 and getting engaged a year later.
