Boxing legend George Foreman has shown faith in Errol Spence Jr to take victory if there were to be a rematch against Terence Crawford in the near future.
Whilst Foreman clearly has some confidence in Spence Jr, he also warned that he cannot try and box him again in the same way that he did on Saturday night, which led to a ninth-round TKO defeat.

Boxing fans seem to be in agreement that Spence Jr needed to fight in a cruder manner given Crawford‘s skilled counterpunch, and he needed to throw fewer hard shots. It seems to be a strategy issue for Spence Jr rather than a matter of strength or skill.
“He’s a fine boxer himself, but his main strength is his punching power, and the other guy [Crawford] is a grown man,” Foreman told The Odd Couple.
“He’s been practicing his boxing and counter-punching for so long. You can’t box those kinds of guys.
“You got to go out there and do a crude style of fighting, never landing hard shots.
“You’re not going to get them with a good shot. They get out of the way and just win every round by points.
“Spence could have done that, but his corner was not aware of that. They were just sending him out doing what he was already doing wrong, and he just got caught up. He’s a nice young fighter.
“I think he still has got a good future. He just got beat at something that he doesn’t do well.”
Asked directly if he thinks Spence Jr can beat Crawford in a rematch, Foreman was adamant.
“No doubt about it,” he said.
