Not everyone has been captivated by the new and blossoming romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. In fact, despite all the hype and staggering spikes in TV ratings, it looks like they already have a large number of detractors.
New York Giants fans made it very clear what they think about the NFL’s new power couple. During Monday night’s fixture between the Giants and the Seahawks at the MetLife Stadium, a commercial of the singer’s new movie about her Eras Tour was displayed on the big screen, and the reaction from the more than 82 thousand people inside was pretty savage.
A chorus of boos echoed around the stadium as the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer’s face was projected onto the screen- it was clear New York doesn’t approve of all the attention the couple are getting.
Of course, Taylor shouldn’t take it personally. The fact she’s dating a player of a direct rival is what likely contributed to the ruthless reaction. Giants’ fans better get used to it though- this is only the beginning of the Travis-Taylor story.
