Timothée Chalamet as inventor Willy Wonka is determined to transform humanity one delicious chocolate bon bon at a time in the latest whimsical trailer for Wonka, which Warner Bros. released on Thursday.

“I guess it’s time to change the world,” Chalamet playing the titular chocolatier declares in the teaser trailer (below) for the upcoming tentpole prequel from Paddington helmer Paul King, which is based on Roald Dahl’s popular children’s book Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

He plays a young Willy Wonka facing off against a chocolate cartel that wants to keep him from practicing his craft. “You should stand up to those bullies, give ‘em the ol one-two,” Hugh Grant’s Oompa Loompa character tells Wonka at one point.

Chalamet’s musical numbers include dancing in a giant chocolate fountain and tap dancing in a magical factory as he presses on against threats from the cartel to stop making delectable chocolates. Warner Bros. has described the prequel — the film is set to take place before the events of the book — as a “vivid, mythical beginnings of the imaginative young inventor before he becomes the renowned scrumdiddlyumptious Mozart of chocolate.”

Wonka also stars Calah Lane, Natasha Rothwell, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Rowan Atkinson and Oscar winner Olivia Colman.
