During the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the Dallas Cowboys, tight end George Kittle wore a shirt that read “F**k Dallas”. Despite the potential fine that could come with such a statement, Kittle claimed that it was worth it, stating: “It is what it is. It was a decision I made. If they want to fine me, they fine me… I’d do it again.”

However, since then, the 49ers have not won a game, losing three straight matches. Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons believes this is karma for Kittle’s profane insult. Speaking on his podcast “The Edge”, Parsons said:

“The 49ers been losing since they said the F Dallas t-shirt. Karma is crazy; ain’t it? Yeah, karma is always crazy. You know, it’s always interesting to see how that stuff always plays itself.”

Parsons went on to discuss a variety of Dallas Cowboys-related topics, including their recent win against the Los Angeles Rams and their upcoming game against divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Micah praises Bland’s performance

During the Rams game, cornerback DaRon Bland made history by notching his league-high third pick-six of 2023, becoming the new franchise single-season record holder. Parsons praised Bland’s performance, saying “This man has been playing lights out, truly special. And he has answered the call every time we needed him to step up.”

Bland himself has remained humble despite his recent success, stating “I’m just trying to do my job and help the team win.” He currently leads the league in interception return yards and has had nine picks and 135 return yards in his career.

Overall, while Kittle’s shirt may have caused controversy and potentially contributed to the 49ers’ losing streak, Parsons and Bland’s focus remains on their own team’s success. As Parsons said: “At the end of the day, nobody has ever won a championship in September. It’s all won at the end of the season. And it’s definitely won in February.”
