NFL legend Tom Brady has met with Victor Wembanyama, the highly-praised San Antonio Spurs rookie who has been stealing the spotlight in the NBA.
Wembanyama, standing at an impressive 7 feet 4 inches, is considered the most hyped first pick in the NBA Draft since LeBron James in 2003.

Brady, accompanied by his oldest son Jack, had the chance to meet Wembanyama and their mutual friend Michael Rubin, the founder of Fanatics.
The meeting took place before Wembanyama‘s first appearance at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks.
“Awesome to meet you, Wembanyama,” Brady wrote to caption his picture on Instagram.
“Incredible young man. Usually I’d make some joke here about how I think I could get 10 and 10 against you, but let’s be real… you’d send my jumper into the club level.”

Brady also made a joke at the expense of his former New England Patriots teammate Julian Edelman.
“Is this is how you felt all those years?” Brady asked, referring to the wide receiver’s short frame.
Brady stands at 6 feet 4 inches and Edelman at 5 feet 10 inches, so the gap between Brady and Wembanyama is actually larger than the size difference between the quarterback and the wide receiver.
Wembanyama is standing out in the NBA
Wembanyama, who was selected as the top pick in this year’s NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs, has been drawing attention for his exceptional basketball skills, including remarkable ball handling and three-point shooting accuracy, despite his towering height.
LeBron James has also praised Wembanyama, referring to him as an “alien” due to his unique abilities on the court.
Wembanyama‘s team, the Spurs, currently have a record of 3-4, and he is averaging 19.4 points per game in seven appearances so far this season.
