LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers arrived in Las Vegas on Wednesday to the news of the mass shooting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Three people were fatally shot and a fourth person was critically wounded in an attack on the UNLV campus, police said. The suspected shooter also was found dead. The NBA superstar reacted to tragic news in a press conference before the NBA In-Season tournament semifinals.

“I think it’s such a longer conversation, but we keep dealing with the same story, this same conversation everybody single time it happens, and it just continues to happen. The ability to get a gun, the ability to do these things over and over and over, and there’s been no change is literally ridiculous”.

The Lakers are in town to play in the semi-finals of the NBA’s In-Season Tournament, and are scheduled to take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday and UNLV’s basketball game at Dayton on Wednesday night was canceled.
