Jesse Palmer was unsure about attending Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s wedding. His RSVP was initially on hold. He was, however, able to make it to The Golden Wedding. But he couldn’t stay for long.
His wife, Emely Fardo, was at home. She was preparing for the birth of their first child. Palmer made this known during the live telecast on January 4th. He said, “I wasn’t sure I’d make it here tonight.”
He went on to explain why. “My beautiful wife Emely is at home. We’re expecting our first child any moment. It could even happen tonight.” Palmer used to play football. Now, he’s sending messages to his model wife from a wedding ceremony.
He reassured Emely during the ceremony. He told her, “I know you’re at home watching. I love you so much. I miss you.” He also had a plan in case he needed to leave early. His co-hosts for the evening were Charity Lawson from The Bachelorette and Kathy Swarts from The Golden Bachelor. They were ready to step in.
He told Emely, “Call me if you feel anything. I’ll leave immediately.” He was confident his friends could handle things. “I’ll leave everything in the capable hands of my friends who I’ve enlisted to help me out here tonight,” he said.
