Gogglebox viewers were left feeling “old” as the cast members questioned what a Concorde plane was.

In tonight’s episode (April 12) of the long-running Channel 4 show , the cast gathered to watch ITV game show Bridge of Lies, hosted by Ross Kemp. During the episode former football star Dion Dublin was asked to choose what was longer – a tennis court or Concorde plane.

A handful of the younger members of the Gogglebox cast were baffled as to what host Ross was asking, as they said: “What is a concorde?”, as the notoriously long and tailless aircraft model was retired in 2003.

Viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say that the cast’s response had left them feeling “old”. @liamjmellor80 said: “Did she just say “What’s Concorde?”??? God, I feel old #Gogglebox”

@Samanth22356123 added: “When a young person says “What’s Concorde? #Gogglebox”

Dion said that a tennis court was longer than the retired aircraft, but at just 78ft in length compared to a Concorde, which was 204ft long, the former Arsenal player was incorrect.
