Dove release as gesture of peace in European Parliament met with dismay

‘We need peace,’ said Slovakian MEP Miroslav Radacovsky as he released a dove in the European Parliament chamber. The symbol of peace was met with dismay by some parliamentarians who felt the gesture was not in line with the rules.
