Ryan Garcia has a conspiracy theory about his failed drug test last month. Garcia failed his drug test the day before and the day of his fight with Devin Haney.
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association confirmed that Garcia has tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug named Ostarine. It was later reported that Garcia had 10 days to request the testing of his B-sample.

Naturally, Garcia’s win over Haney has now been called into question, but the California native has hit back at his critics on social media.
He said in a clip captioned ‘Fake news like I was Donald Trump’: “I came on here to address this bull f**king s**t claim that I cheated. Everybody knows that I don’t cheat. Why didn’t they come up with this before the fight, if they found it before? Why would they let me step in the ring as a cheater?”
That clip came before an interesting tweet that brought rap star P Diddy into the conversation. Garcia tweeted on X: “Diddy paid for the drug test. Allegedly.”
What Garcia was trying to achieve with the tweet is unclear, and it’s unclear what he means by it, but he remains determined to prove he did not cheat during the fight.
Garcia’s record
Garcia has a record of 25-1 after his win over Haney, but he was not able to claim the title after weighing in overweight.
The Californian also gave up around $500,000 of his fight purse due to being overweight for the fight. Though, while the weighing scales don’t lie, he will continue to fight the allegations that he used performance-enhancing drugs.
