Rodgers and the Jets will travel to the Bay Area for the first game of their season, and it will be on Monday Night Football. Brocky Purdy and the Super Bowl runner-up Niners will want to spoil Rodgers’ return.
The Jets were probably hoping for an easier first game for many reasons. A rusty Rodgers will have to deal with a fierce pass-rush that includes Nick Bosa, Leonard Floyd, Javon Hargrave and more.
New York’s new-look offensive line will be put to the test quickly with the goal of protecting the 40-year-old Rodgers.
