Police are appealing for help to find a man following a report of criminal damage and assault at Terror Tower in Scarborough.

The incident is reported to have happened at around 4pm on May 11 when a male attempted to get a refund, which escalated into him damaging the card payment device and allegedly assaulting a member of staff.

North Yorkshire Police have released an image of the man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident at the tourist attraction on Foreshore Road.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We’ve issued this CCTV of a man we would like to speak to following criminal damage and assault at Terror Tower on Foreshore Road in Scarborough.

“It happened at around 4pm on Saturday 11 May 2024 when a male attempted to obtain a refund which escalated into him damaging the card payment device at the location and assaulting the member of staff.”
