The Detroit Lions lost some key depth at wide receiver when Josh Reynolds left in free agency, but one analyst believes they have the chance to add an even more accomplished veteran to help fill the void.
Bleacher Report’s David Kenyon named the Lions as one of the teams that could benefit most from a late free agency addition, noting that the team is still in need of some depth at wide receiver. The Lions still have close to $28.4 million in cap space despite some expensive contract extensions to Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Penei Sewell, and Kenyon suggested they could use some of that money on veteran receiver Michael Thomas.
