Maric hit Waterman on the lead and he has gone back and kicked the goal.

He grabbed at the Eagles logo. He wants the home fans to roar their side home.

Eagles players Liam Duggan and Jack Hutchinson have had an accidental head clash as both were running for the footy.

Duggan has come off worse for wear and is being slowly walked from the ground.

He won’t be back today as they will need to do a head injury assessment for him. He looks shaky on his feet.

Roos 61, Eagles 58 with seven mins to go.

The Eagles won a free kick and Jack Petruccelle had the footy and played on kicking a goal and bringing his club within three points of the Roos.

The crowd is roaring. The Eagles have comeback from 33 points down.

Jy Simpkin is one of the smaller players in the AFL but he booted a goal from outside 50m to open this last term.

He loved the goal and so did his teammates.

Now the Roos need to go on with this and make sure of the win.

The Roos are within reach of their first win of 2024 taking a lead into the final term.

Larkey was excellent that term while the Eagles are spraying their shots at goal.
