Caitlin Clark appears to finally be finding her feet in professional basketball as she dropped 30 points on the Washington Mystics in the Indiana Fever’s latest win, leaving fans going crazy for the overall first pick’s performance on June 7.

The Fever won a slender 85-83 game against a victory-less Mystics side at the Capital One Arena in D.C, meaning that Clark‘s impressive points haul was undeniably the catalyst for the triumph as she posted 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

For perspective, only Kelsey Mitchell could only hit 16 points for the Fever whilst the next closest shooter in the entire game was Stefanie Dolson with 19 showing just how far above the rest she was when it came to sinking shots on Friday night.

Clark gave the Fever their third win of the season, moving them three clear of the Mystics at the foot of the Eastern Conference. Whilst her team are second-last, they’re 2.5 games behind Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky and in the overall League, have moved within half a game back to the Los Angeles Sparks.

Fans are stunned by Clark’s form

According to StatMamba, Clark became the first player ever to score those numbers plus seven three-pointers made and four steals. She also became the fastest player in WNBA history to hit 200 points and 50 assists and the youngest player ever (22) to score 30 points, five rebounds, five assists and three three-pointers on a record-breaking night for the star.

After a tough start to life in the professional game, the Fever‘s guard decided to show everyone what she’s about by producing the incredible display in front of 20,000 fans and they didn’t take long to head to social media to praise her.

One fan said, “She is definitely the Chosen like I be telling you everyone even my daughters #CaitlinClark #TheChosenOne #WNBA.”

A second added, “Caitlin Clark is generational talent in the making. It’s just year 1 give her more experience over the years it’s gonna get scary.”

And a third wrote, “ESPN ranks Caitlin Clark the 6th best rookie?! Caitlin Clark: Hold my beer!”
