Hundreds flocked to Huddersfield town centre on Saturday to “get their geek on” and celebrate Comic Con.

Organisers vowed to bring the event back “bigger and better before” and that they did. Revellers dressed in their finery enjoyed a huge variety of activities in the centre including cosplay, movie cars and characters, attractions and merchandisers.

Axe throwing was on the menu as well as a Jedi masterclass for everyone to enjoy.

A day out fit for all of the family, there was no age limit and no price – with festivities available for free. Pictures of the fun-filled day showed people dressed up and chatting away to each other – and even Bumblebee from Transformers.
