Their left-hand side is very strong. Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley are my Arsenal team-mates. They have been playing together for a long time and I see what they can do on a daily basis. I do not doubt that they will cause England issues but my loyalty will obviously stick with my country on this one!
They can do well when they come back to Arsenal, but not on Wednesday! Serena Wiegman will have made the girls feel prepared for this World Cup semi-final. She always does.
I’ve spoken to the girls and they are in a good place. It’s a big occasion and one they’ll take with both hands. It’s not as if this is somewhere they’ve not been.
We’ve done it all – from losing the 2019 World Cup semi-finals against the USA to winning the 2021 Euro semi-finals against Sweden.

It’s been slightly hard for me to watch – one, because I’m not very good at being a spectator and two, because I wish I was there to help the team. But I also am very much invested and screaming at the TV.
I’ve seen that Kathryn Batte (Mail Sport’s women’s football correspondent) has been taking a little Mini Mead around with her in Australia and it watched the penalty shootout against Nigeria.
McDonald’s made 10,000 Mini Meads for the World Cup, one of the first ever to be made of a female player, so it’s great to see Kathryn embracing it as a good luck charm!

Mini Mead was a lot calmer than the real one during that shootout against Nigeria, I’ll say that.
Penalties? That’s not my thing. I’m not a fan of them. I’m not fan of watching them. Even if it’s two teams that I’m not even bothered about!
I completely understand how every player feels walking up to that spot.
I’ll watch the game from Arsenal’s training ground. There aren’t so many English players there at the moment, so I’m sure they’ll be winding me up.
I think the game will be very close but that we could edge a 2-1 win.
