A committed supporter of Donald Trump‘s was surprised when told by a CNN correspondent that God is not mentioned in the US Constitution.

In a promotional clip ahead of the network’s release of ‘MissinfoNation: The Trump Faithful,’ correspondent Donie O’Sullivan interviews a member of MAGA nation who is unimpressed by the job mainstream reporters have been doing.

The woman, who’s first name is Julie and is pictured sporting a hot pink ‘Trump Save America’ hat, opens the clip by saying to O’Sullivan: ‘The job of the journalist is to ask the questions, allow the person to speak and just report the facts. What was spoken.

‘Would you like for me to pull up the definition of journalists?’

O’Sullivan declines, but then the two get into it about the content of the country’s founding documents.

Julie argued that ‘the facts have shown that the election was stolen.

‘Whether you’re willing to look at that and accept that and really show that’s going on, that’s your issue, not ours.

‘We want the God-given freedom that our Constitution and our Bill of Rights is based on.’

O’Sullivan asserts that God-given rights and those found in the US Constitution are ‘two different things,’ to which Julie replies: ‘No, sir, they’re not! Read. R-E-A-D the Constitution.

‘Read it out loud to yourself so that you hear what the words of the Constitution say.’

O’Sullivan attempts to drive his point home when he then says: ‘God isn’t mentioned in the Constitution.’

‘Sir!’ Julie replies in a huff as she begins to search something on her phone before the clip cuts away.

O’Sullivan, who has made a name for himself covering online conspiracy theories that have, in recent years, intersected with the political landscape, is correct that the word ‘God’ does not appear in the United States Constitution.

The Declaration of Independence, however, does reference ‘our Creator,’ who has endowed all men with ‘certain unalienable rights.’ Rights which the subsequent Bill of Rights and US Constitution were written to protect.

‘God’ is also explicitly referenced in the US Pledge of Allegiance, on US currency, and in most state Constitutions, according to a 2017 Pew Research Center analysis

The full exchange will be available for viewing Sunday evening during The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper, when O’Sullivan’s piece will air.

Meanwhile, footage of ‘everymen’ around the country has indicated that despite CNN’s journalism, the opinion of the average American has flowed strongly away from Joe Biden and toward Donald Trump in recent years.

In a recent video captured outside of Donald Trump’s Manhattan hush money trial, a construction worker spoke his mind about the current president.

‘What’s it like seeing so many Republicans in Manhattan, so many Trump supporters in Manhattan. Does that surprise you?’ a Newsmax reporter asked the construction worker.

‘No, not at all. It’s turning now. It’s Trump’s turn again,’ he said without delay.

He was then asked for his message to Joe Biden.

Without missing a beat, he quipped: ‘F**k you.’

The unidentified man was met with praise online that bore out his point.

‘This man represents the majority of America. Verbatim,’ wrote one user.

‘This is pretty much the sentiment of all blue collar hard working Americans. Really any American for that matter. Well said sir,’ wrote another.
