Footage has been shared of Roy Keane ordering an Everton fan to stop filming him during the Toffees’ game against Manchester United.

United won 3-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon, largely in thanks to Alejandro Garnacho’s sensational overhead kick that has already been branded goal of the season.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial were also on the score sheet during what was eventually a comfortable win for Erik ten Hag‘s side, which saw them keep tabs on the Champions League places.

Keane was working as a pundit for Sky Sports for the game, claiming his former side ‘have a bit of their swagger back’ following a tough run of form so far this campaign.

And he was snapped by an Everton fan in the crowd, but didn’t take too kindly to being filmed and ordered them to focus on the game instead.

Keane is known for his straight-edge approach to punditry, often saying it as he sees it even if it means his words are stern.

He has gained plaudits for his traditional view of football, and appeared frustrated on this occasion that the fan was filming him rather than watching the game.

Keane can be seen trying to wave the camera away as the footage zooms in on him in the studio, before he points to the pitch the gesture that there is a match going on.

He then points to the camera and back to the pitch as frustration appeared to grow for the Irishman.

After the game, however, Keane unusually showed high praise for United, insisting the performance points to the club moving in a positive direction again.

‘It’s about their attacking players producing at important moments. United haven’t been scoring enough goals this season.

‘They [Everton] can argue all day, its a penalty, he’s left his leg in there. Martial, I’m not his biggest fan, but he’s positive.

‘It was nice to see Marcus take it and lash it in. When the second one goes in, its game over. United have a little bit of their swagger back, definitely.’
