Shocking footage showed the Brazilian woman dragging the old age pensioner Paulo Roberto Braga, 68, into the bank to take out £2,500.

His head could be seen tilting back and forth, his eyes were closed and his mouth remained frozen open throughout the grim ordeal.

The woman was also seen using her hand to keep her uncle’s neck upright as she asked him to sign off a four-figure loan.

Pretending to have a conversation with him, she said: “Uncle, are you listening? You have to sign it. I can’t sign for you.

“Sign here and stop giving me a headache,” she added as she asked the deceased old age pensioner to hold the pen between his fingers.

But her shameless drama was met by a silent response from the dead man.

A different CCTV footage revealed the moment she dragged her dead uncle from a taxi and into a wheelchair before carting him into a bank.

The taxi driver holds open the car door as she tries to haul him from the seat before heading to the bank.

For several agonising moments, she wrestles with his corpse in the passenger seat before the driver is forced to help.

Eventually, they manage to get his stiff body onto the chair before she pays the taxi driver for the ride.

However, her shocking con rumbled after the paramedics confirmed that the old man had passed away before being wheeled into the bank counter.

Cops allege Erika already knew her uncle was dead but still carted his dead body to secure the money.

His exact time of death is unclear, but Mr Souza said: “If indeed Paulo arrived alive at the shopping centre, his death occurred shortly after.”

Police chief, Fabio Luiz Souza said: “There’s no doubt that Erika was aware of Paulo’s death.

“However, knowing it was her last opportunity to withdraw the loan money, she brought the corpse into the bank.”

Cops have now charged Erika on the grounds of manslaughter, saying that she “let the old man die”.

“It was evident that Paulo was in a critical, life-threatening condition,” the police chief added.

“Rather than returning to the hospital to save his life, she chose to go to the bank.
