He is best known as a mixed doubles player, having won back-to-back Asian Junior Championships titles in 2012 and 2013. However, he was also successful as a junior in boys’ singles. In 2011, he won the under-17 tournament at the Surabaya Cup.

Similarly, in 2012 and 2013, he won the Malaysia International Youth Tournament. In addition, he also competed in the men’s doubles with Seo Seung-Jae at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
