She picked up interest in wrestling at age 16 while watching Ronda Rousey fight on television.

Miranda schooled at Buffalo, Missouri where joined the high school wrestling team and later competed on the men’s varsity team.

She majored in psychology and sociology at Drury University and graduated with honors from the university in 2018.
