Barcelona clawed their way to victory in their last 32 tie against Cornella on Thursday – despite being taken to extra time by the Segunda Division B side.
Barca got dangerously close to becoming the second of LaLiga giant to be knocked out of the competition by a third-tier club after Real Madrid fell victim to Alcoyano on Wednesday.
However, Goals from Ousmane Dembele and Martin Braithwaite in extra time prevented such an eventuality.

Dembele made up for missing a penalty in normal time by firing home a long-range shot from the edge of the box, before Braithwaite closed out the game and booked Barcelona their spot in the round of 16 with a 120+1 minute winner.
Cornella did, however, put up a fight with Ramon Juan becoming the first goalkeeper ever to save two Barcelona penalties in the same game.
Regardless of their win, Ronald Koeman will be concerned as their game against Cornella marks the third time in a row that Barca have been taken to extra time.
