CHRIS WHEELER, JOE BERSTEIN, NATHAN SALT and LIAM MORGAN: Manchester United are in a dilemma over what to do with the notoriously leaky roof at Old Trafford, Confidential can reveal.

During a staff meeting at the stadium on Thursday, managing director Collette Roche outlined the difficulties United face in trying to fix the problem that has come to symbolise the Glazer family’s neglect of the club.

United know that the roof over the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand needs replacing – and repairing in other areas of the ground. In addition to allegedly lacklustre efforts on the training ground and persistent lateness Mail Sport has learned that Ten Hag has highlighted Sancho’s influence amongst team-mates as a cause for concern, although this is strongly denied by sources close to the player.
