Kourtney Kardashian‘s sister Khloe was left lost for words as she revealed the shocking gift she had made for her husband Travis Barker.
The reality personality, 45, disclosed to her younger sister Khloe, 39, that she had gifted her husband a vial of her own blood as a romantic gesture.
The couple are renowned for their extravagant gifts, which have previously rooms filled with flowers and diamond jewellery.
But things took a bizarre turn, when Kourtney revealed they had given each other vials of their of own blood on this week’s episode of The Kardashians.
During the beginning of the episode, Kourtney, who was on bedrest following ‘rare’ fetal surgery on her unborn child, she was visited by Khloe.

Kourtney was showing Khloe a scrapbook she had made for Travis, highlighting memories from their three-year relationship.
After Khloe looked through the book, Kourtney said: ‘Did you see my blood vial in there?’ leaving Khloe speechless and momentarily lost for words.
Looking confused, Khloe replied: ‘What? No.’ Kourtney encouraged her to have another look, and Kourtney replied: ‘Gotta see the blood,’ before asking: ‘It’s a real thing of blood?’
When Khloe asked why they had given each other their blood in the first place, Kourtney said: ‘Just to like, have each others’.
Speaking in the confessional, Khloe said: ‘To wanna show off your blood vials is also like, alright, if that’s what you’re into, but.. it’s very Billy Bob Thornton of them.’
‘And, like, my every minute of the day, do I wanna be harnessing a tube of blood? Not for me, but that’s what makes the world go round, we’re all different. Rock on with your bad self!’
The vials also received a visceral reaction from Kourtney’s friend Simon Huck, who revealed his shock when she told him about it.
He exclaimed: ‘It’s sick. I don’t even wanna comment on it. And is there still blood in it? ‘ Kourtney confirmed there was, leading Simon to question: ‘Are you okay? Is that like, healthy and safe?’

The couple may have been inspired by their friends Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, who also exchanged gifts of blood during their relationship.
They are currently on a break after calling off their engagement, however when they were together, Megan gave MGK a necklace containing her blood.
Previously speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, MGK explained that Megan gave him the gift before going away to shoot a film.
He said: ‘Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie, and this was really new in our relationship.
‘I didn’t have a passport either, so she was going out to Bulgaria, and so I was kinda freaking out like, “you’re gonna leave and I can’t even come see you”, Some people give a handkerchief to their partner. She gave me her DNA.’
In February 2021 MGK revealed that he wears Megan’s blood on a necklace, as he took to Instagram with some sweet memories and a passionate Valentine’s Day tribute to the Jennifer’s Body star.
He shared a photo of the unique transparent jewelry, featuring a red smudge, captioned: ‘i wear your blood around my neck. my bloody valentine.’
