Alanis Morissette took to Instagram this week to share a rare snapshot with her youngest child.
The 50-year-old Grammy-winning music artist engaged her 1.2 million followers as she posted a photo with son Winter, five in August, helping apply her makeup.
The singer-songwriter is in the midst of her Triple Moon Tour.
In the caption, she wrote, ‘I like to do my own makeup for most of my tour. but sometimes, a master appears to show me how it’s done.’
The mother-of-three, who is married to 44-year-old hip-hop artist Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway, added ‘#houston #texaslove.’

In the image, Alanis wore a white tank top and loose-fitting olive green pants as she sat in a black chair.
Her dark, wavy hair fell down her back and there was a table to her left, covered in rows of makeup palettes.
Her long-haired son stood before her, adorably dressed in a green and orange leaf-patterned shirt.
The post has so far racked up more than 41,000 likes from her legion of devoted fans.
In addition to Winter, Alanis and Mario share son Ever, 13, and daughter Onyx, 8 on June 23.
Earlier this month Morissette dropped in on Instagram to reflect on hitting the road with her music.
Sharing a photo of her and her band onstage, she captioned, ‘first night of the Triple Moon Tour was a surreal dream. thank you Phoenix for a crackling and warm opening show.’

In May, Alanis and her husband marked 14 years of marriage and they both marked the milestone with social media posts.
For her part, the Jagged Little Pill artist wrote, ’14 years angel man. you are a heart warrior. i love you so much.’
Mario shared the same smiling photo of the pair and captioned his post, ‘Happy Anniversary, Angel @alanis. It has been 14 years, and it truly feels like the greatest dream come true. You radiate so much love; it is an honor to support your bright light as it shines brighter and brighter with each passing day.’
Her tour continues Saturday, June 22 in Alpharetta, Georgia.
