Lottie Moss has finally begun to get her face tattoo removed, after drunkenly getting the word ‘Lover’ inked below her eye in Bali in December 2022.

The OnlyFans star, 26, shared a video of her getting the inking and confessed she had woken up with the tattoo after a drunken night out, warning her followers: ‘Don’t drink alcohol kids!’

She later defended the inking, explaining it was her way of expressing herself following years of ‘being so controlled’ and it represented the fact that she is now ‘free.’

But on Wednesday, Lottie visited celebrity approved tattoo removal clinic, NAAMA Studios, for her first session to have several of her inkings removed after coming to regret them.

She shared a snap of her sitting in the chair and wearing a pair of protective glasses as she got some of the tattoos lasered off.

Captioning the snap she wrote: ‘Thank you for having me for my first session of tattoo removal @naamastudios – if you regret any of your tattoos like me but are scared of removing because of the pain I 100% recommend [sic] this place, the process is almost painless and super quick!’

Explaining why she was getting much of her collection removed, she continued: ‘I’m on a tattoo removal journey atm, many of my tattoos I either don’t like or just don’t align with me anymore so thank you @naamastudios for helping me remove them painlessly and quickly!’

Earlier this year, Lottie broke down in tears as she admitted that the reason she got a face tattoo and started an OnlyFans page was due to the struggles she faced in the modelling industry.

She shared a candid TikTok video, where she discussed how modelling in her teens made her succumb to drugs and alcohol because of the industry she worked in.

The half-sister of supermodel Kate Moss confessed she got her ‘lover’ tattoo to ‘rebel so hard away from an industry that made her sad all the time’.

She explained: ‘I have struggled so much since I was young with depression, anxiety and problems with addiction and becoming a model and being in that industry made it very difficult for me not to feel that way and just succumb to drugs and alcohol whenever I felt sad.

‘I think sometimes you become this person who you don’t like, know or even recognise. I think I’ve gone to that place today where I just don’t know who I am. Since I got my face tattoo and started OnlyFans, I was like, “is this even what I want to be doing?”.

‘I think I rebelled so hard away from an industry that made me sad at the time and I just rebelled so hard away from being that person because I was so miserable being that person. But then I don’t even like me now, so I’m like “who the f*** am I?”‘

Lottie first debuted the face tattoo on her TikTok and fiercely defended the ink, saying the ‘the world would learn to love it’ and that she didn’t care if people hated it.

She filmed herself in bed saying: ‘I don’t have a lot to say about last night really beside the fact this could have been without doing… but I don’t mind it, we’re going to learn to love it, the world will learn to love it and my mum will learn to love it.’

In another video captioned: ‘When people say they don’t like my new face tattoo’, she mouthed along to audio that said: ‘I don’t care, I really don’t give a f**k, I really don’t.’

Despite admitting it was a spontaneous decision, she said the word ‘lover’ symbolised the time she had spent reconnecting with herself and growing to love the person she is.

The influencer opened up to Glamour magazine about growing up in the ‘toxic’ fashion industry and claimed the inking was her way of ‘expressing that I am free’ after being ‘so controlled’.

Lottie told the publication that after finally finding the peace and freedom from her former life, she got the tattoo to symbolise her new found liberation from years of feeling suppressed in an ‘intense industry’.

She explained: ‘Since rehab, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery. I’ve spent a lot of time in Bali, surrounded by nature, reading alone or spending time with like-minded people – and learning to love myself again while finally being free from my former life.

‘That’s why I decided to get my face tattoo; the word ‘lover’ under my eye. Yes, it was impulsive, but after years of being so controlled, it was my way of expressing that I am free. I’m no longer controlled.’

She explained to her followers: ”When I want to go for a classier vibe, I cover up my face tattoo and dress like a Little House on the Prairie, like butter wouldn’t melt, like she’s so innocent and she never got a face tattoo in Bali after two drinks…’

But last year MailOnline reported that Lottie had decided to get the face tattoo fully removed, in the hopes that erasing the ink will mark the beginning of a fresh chapter in her life.

She told pals that in retrospect the tattoo signifies a negative time in her life and now she’s clean, sober, and looking to the future, she wants to remove all trace of it.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Lottie is planning to have laser tattoo removal. She fully embraced her Lover inking but now she just wants it gone and has been covering it up with makeup for events and photoshoots.

‘For her now, it signifies a time in her life when she wasn’t as strong, but she’s begun a new chapter since and wants the tattoo, which is a reminder of a darker time, removed for good.’
