Love Island fans believe that contestant Samantha Kenny is ‘playing up for the cameras’ after spotting something she did during Wednesday’s episode.
During Wednesday’s episode of the ITV2 show, islander Joey Essex, 33, pulled the makeup artist, 26, for a chat.
However, as they went to sit down Samantha asked him to switch positions with her so her ‘good side’ was on display.
Viewers at home then rushed to X to share their thoughts and insisted the remark proved she was playing up for the cameras.
One wrote: ‘Sitting to show their good side? To the camera? They’re too aware of the cameras.’;

During the episode, Samantha appeared to be putting all of her eggs in one basket with Joey despite previously admitting to being attracted to Ronnie Vincent.
However, viewers branded her as ‘salty’ when she took a sly dig at Ronnie and Jess for kissing on the terrace within the first day of knowing each other.
After finding out about the snog from another housemate Samantha asked: ‘Who kisses on the first day?’
Samantha then proceeded to tell the former TOWIE star that she wasn’t interested in anyone else and only had eyes for him.
However, the scene didn’t escape the viewers as they claimed she ‘almost choked’ when she found out about Ronnie and Jess’s kiss.
One fan said: ‘Samantha is a liar. You literally fancy Ronnie and almost choked when she heard he kissed Jess.’

Another chimed: ‘”Who kisses on the first night?” like she wouldn’t jump at the chance to kiss Ronnie if he made a move… Samantha is a little salty.’
It comes as Abbie Quinnen is reportedly set to enter the Love Island villa as a second celebrity bombshell.
The dancer, 27, has been lined up to head to Mallorca, according to The Sun, who claim she was in talks with producers for weeks over the decision and ‘can’t wait to get into the villa and mix things up’.
Sunday night’s launch show Joey became the first ever celeb bombshell in Love Island history.
The reality TV star has been getting to know the girls in the villa since entering – striking up flirtations with Samantha Kenny and Harriett Blackmore.
Abbie is the ex-girlfriend of Strictly dancer AJ Pritchard – whose brother is Curtis who starred on Love Island in 2019 where he came fourth with Maura Higgins.
A source said: ‘Abbie has become well-known in her own right and after her break up with AJ she fancied a fresh chance at love. Joey went in as the first big bombshell and Abbie is waiting in the wings for the call-up.
‘She has been in talks with Love Island for weeks over being a bombshell and has said she can’t wait to dive in and mix things up.
‘When she was with AJ she found out a lot about Love Island through Curtis so she knows what is in store for her.’
AJ, 29, and Abbie split in 2022 after four years together.
It came a year after she suffered serious burns when a viral social media stunt went wrong.
