YouTube stars Lydia and Trace Bates have become parents to a baby boy making them a family of three. The couple who documented their entire pregnancy and shared their journey with their fans welcomed their first baby on September 12.
Over the past year, fans have come to love YouTube stars Lydia and Trace’s vlogs. The couple is extremely candid and open about their lives. The duo have documented everything from their proposal and wedding to how they built their house together. Now Lydia and Trace Bates have become parents for the first time as they welcome their baby boy.
Lydia and Trace Bates become parents to a baby boy
The new parents took to their respective Instagram accounts to inform fans that their baby had arrived. Lydia and Trace Bates welcomed their baby boy on Tuesday, September 12. Their newborn’s name is Ryker Cruise Bates. The Bates are a family of three now.
Sharing a picture of Ryker’s tiny hands holding his parent’s finger, the couple wrote, “We are soaking in all the newborn moments as a new family of three. And are looking forward to sharing more soon,” in their post.
Prior to Ryker’s birth, the couple also posted a picture of Lydia in the hospital as she prepared for her son’s arrival. Ryker is the couple’s first baby together. Before her delivery, Lydia posted a video of herself packing for the hospital visit on her Instagram.
YouTube couple tied the knot in 2022
The couple tied the knot on October 1, 2022. Hence Lydia and Trace would soon be celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary too.
The two shared multiple videos from their dreamlike wedding on their YouTube. Following this they also documented their honeymoon for which they traveled to Hawaii.
Just six months ago, Lydia shared the news of her pregnancy with her fans online.
How did Lydia and Trace meet?
In a YouTube video from last year, Lydia and Trace revealed how they met. Lydia reveals that she met Trace’s sister Josie for a photoshoot. The two girls spent some time together and Josie insisted on setting Lydia up with one of her brothers.
While initially, Lydia refused to be set up because it would be “awkward.” The two then met up socially with Trace’s siblings and friends around. The two hit it off and the rest is history.
