The child’s mother was distraught at the scene, breaking down after her son was transported away in an ambulance.

A spokesperson from NSW Ambulance media told Daily Mail Australia the child lost his balance from a ground floor window before falling onto concrete.

‘An ambulance was called just after 8pm and paramedics quickly attended the scene,’ he said.

‘The child was taken to the Sydney Children’s Hospital where he will continue to be assessed.’

According to the spokesperson, the boy’s condition is not believed to be critical at this stage.
