Former Arsenal wonderkid Emmanuel Frimpong reportedly attempted to force his tenants out of their home by peeking through their blinds, a court heard on Wednesday.
Frimpong, 32, was the subject of a variety of accusations at Edmonton County Court, which came from his long-suffering tenant Reiane McGregor.
McGregor, who moved into the home with her mum, Fay, revealed the former Gunners midfielder, who was present in court, had made her life ‘hell’.
A report in The Sun claimed that as well as peering through their living room blinds, Frimpong moved into the property with his wife and kids.
After initially claiming it would only be for a few weeks, the arrangement was said to be extended, with Frimpong’s behaviour reportedly becoming increasingly aggressive.

For example, he allegedly told his tenants: ‘I can come to the property whenever the hell I like.’
Frimpong was also alleged to have filed an ‘accelerated possession’ claim, which is a procedure that allows a landlord to serve notice on the tenant, in an attempt to force McGregor and her mother out.
However, the report added that McGregor didn’t believe the claim was real and also alleged Frimpong provided several fake documents.
She told the court: ‘What he sent across, they can be seen to be falsified.’
The report goes onto claim that a subsequent hearing will take place to establish whether the aforementioned documents were authentic.
Deputy District Judge Elizabeth Boon said: ‘She says: “I wasn’t ever provided with the copy of the energy performance certificate or gas safety certificate”.
‘If she was never provided with that it would mean the section 21 notice wasn’t valid.’
McGregor and her mother went to the Citizens Advice Bureau to seek help and investigate the allegations.
Speaking outside the court in Edmonton, McGregor added: ‘It is a house, but not a home anymore.’

Frimpong is best known for his time at Arsenal, whom he joined at the age of nine, before progressing through to the first team where he made 16 senior appearances.
However, he struggled with injuries, while a tunnel bust-up with Samir Nasri also impacted his time at the club.
After loan spells with Wolves, Charlton and Fulham, he moved onto Barnsley in 2014.
The Ghanaian, who won a sole cap for his country, subsequently played for Russian side UFA, Swedish outfit AFC Eskilstuna and Cypriot team Ermis Aradippou before he retired due to injury in 2019.
