GIANT huntsman crawling across a car’s roof sparks terror among female passengers

A fun car ride has turned into a nightmare for a group of young friends after they spotted a giant huntsman crawling across their inside roof.

A video posted to TikTok this week shows four women and a man filming themselves dancing and listening to music as they cruise along the coast in Mullaloo, Perth

But the blissful moment was abruptly interrupted when one of the back seat passengers noticed a huge spider scurrying above her head towards the driver.

The woman began squealing in terror, alerting all but the driver to the presence of the unwelcome, but non-venomous, critter.

The confused driver asks: ‘What?’, as her stunned friends cover their mouths unsure how to safely break the news that a huge arachnid is loitering inches from her hair.

The furry eight-legged creature then rushes towards the front of the car and scrambles across the windscreen as the passengers continue their symphony of high-pitched screams.

‘Get the f*** away!’ one woman can be heard shrieking.

‘We should pull over,’ the young man says.

‘I’m f***ing leaving,’ another woman declares.

The footage has gone viral, racking up more than 62,000 views, with many applauding the woman for not crashing.

‘I would have taken off the road,’ one person said.

Another added: ‘Safe to say, I would have crashed.’

‘I would have crashed and killed us all,’ a third wrote.

Some said the incident was ‘so Australian’, while others said the group’s reaction was hilarious.

‘This is the funniest thing I have seen all day,’ one comment read.

‘This literally had me in tears laughing. I would probably burn my car down if this happened to me,’ a second person said.

‘This is too funny!’ someone else added.

A fourth wrote: ‘Welcome to Australia!’
