Madison Keys swore live on TV after booking her spot in the semi-finals at the US Open.
The World No 17 picked up an easy victory over Marketa Vondrousova in their quarter-final match on Wednesday, with Keys set to face No 2 Aryna Sabalenka with a spot in the final on the line.
Her route to the semi-finals has come with a bit of help from her fiancee and fellow tennis player, Bjorn Fratangelo – who also coaches the 28-year-old.
During the match, Fratangelo, 30, was seen trying to give advice to Keys who he has been engaged with since March of this year.
Though from what Keys said after her victory, it’s unlikely that she was able to take any of it in.

Keys could not take in her fiance’s advice however as she remarked that she ‘couldn’t hear s***’ during her victory over Marketa Vondrousova due to the pumped up New York crowd
During her post match interview, she was asked: ‘How important is it when you can go over there and get some tactical help and just calm you down a little bit in these kinds of matches?’
The American replied: ‘To be honest, I couldn’t hear s*** out there.’
Keys laughed along with the crowd, as the interviewer remarked back: ‘We can’t bleep you Maddie’.
Taking a look at Fratangelo in the crowd, Keys addressed her fiance as she apologised to the interview while laughing.
She said: ‘Sorry, but yeah, I couldn’t heard anything you were saying, so I was like, yeah sure, got it.’
After her second round win over Liudmila Samsonova earlier in the competition, Keys credited Fratangelo for her success.
As per the New York Post, she said: ‘Everything’s been really good. He’s keeping a tally of his wins and losses.
Keys and Fratangelo got engaged in March of this year after they started dating in 2017

‘Jesse Pegula’s coach, David Witt, keeps calling him coach of the year and that he’s coming for his titles. So, so far so good.’
The pair have been dating since 2017. Fratangelo cracked the ATP’s top 100 in 2016 at a career-high No 99 after a decorated junior career in which he won the Roland Garros junior title in 2011.
Her strong showing in New York comes after she fell at the quarter-final stage at Wimbledon – to her US Open semi-final opponent Sabalenka.
She is hoping to reach her first Grand Slam final since the US Open in 2017, when she suffered a straight sets loss to Sloane Stephens.
