Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are all about that “one love” vibe. They recently surprised everyone by showing up on the red carpet. The event? The Jan. 23 premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Jamaica.
For this unexpected date night, Meghan decided to go for a long black gown. It had a billowing skirt that added a touch of drama. Harry, on the other hand, was looking sharp in a navy suit. He paired it with a crisp white button-up shirt.
This little adventure was actually a return trip to Jamaica for the couple. Remember March 2017? That’s when Meghan and Harry flew to Montego Bay. The occasion? The wedding of Harry’s best friend Tom Inskip to Lara Hughes-Young.
Fast forward to 2024, and here they are again. This time, their trip to the Caribbean island nation marks their first public outing of the year. The last time we saw them in public was at a Vancouver Canucks game on Nov. 20. Harry even had the honor of dropping the ceremonial puck to kick off the match.
But let’s rewind a bit. Since 2020, the duke and duchess have taken a step back from their royal duties. Instead, they’ve been focusing on causes that are dear to them. For instance, Harry’s Invictus Games. They’ve also been busy raising their two kids, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, in sunny California.
