In March 2023, the RHONJ newbie responded to a question from Cohen about using Ozempic for a personal “glow up.”

“What am I on? Well, I did have a facelift. … And a nose job!” she shared. “And I did lose a lot of weight. I took peptides, and I don’t know if you’ve heard of medications associated with that that help people lose weight. You said [the word Ozempic], I didn’t. But … whatever works, here I am.”

In December 2023, Fessler revealed that she was hospitalized for an impacted bowel she believes was caused by taking semaglutide, but she hasn’t stopped taking the medication. “I’m a raging hypochondriac, but when it comes to things having to do with my physical appearance, somehow that goes out the window,” she said on her “Two Jersey Js” podcast, noting that she’s lost 22 pounds since she began taking the drug in 2022. “For instance, I’m not afraid at all of going into surgery for anything cosmetic.”
