Take That are set to kick off their This Life On Tour schedule of shows in Sheffield.

The famous trio of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will play 29 dates, across 15 cities in the UK and Ireland, as part of their upcoming tour. The concerts follow the release of their 2023 record This Life.

Many fans will be looking forward to hearing songs from the album alongside classic hits such as Back For Good, Shine and Never Forget. In Yorkshire, we are very lucky to welcome Take That for their opening shows – you can buy tickets from Ticketmaster.

The tour will begin at Utilita Arena Sheffield on Saturday, April 13 with another performance on Sunday, April 14. Then TT will head to Leeds First Direct Arena for gigs.

Ahead of the Sheffield dates, we have all the key details those heading to the arena will need. Take a scroll and plan ahead to make your evening with Take That shine.

Set times

The tour will see popstar Olly Murs support Take That on the road. So, you’ll want to get in early to catch the Dance With Me Tonight star ahead of the main event.

As we understand it, these are the set times for Take That’s Sheffield shows below. We will bring you updates should these change:

  • Car park and box office opens – 4pm
  • Doors open – 6pm
  • Olly Murs – 7:25pm
  • Take That – 8:35pm

The shows are expected to finish by 11pm.

Expected setlist

Of course, given this is the first show of the tour, it is unsure exactly what Take That will perform. But we can likely expect the classics alongside some songs from This Life.

How to get to Utilita Arena Sheffield

Thousands of Take That fans will be heading to Utilita Arena Sheffield for the shows on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14. So, make sure you plan ahead, if you are heading to the venue.

Supertram

The Arena has its very own stop – Arena / Olympic Legacy Park. This tram stop is served by the yellow route and tram train.

Bus

There are bus services which can take you to Utilita Arena Sheffield. These include the X1 steel link; X10 and 208.

You can get timetable information and plan your journey through Travel South Yorkshire.

Car parking

For those travelling by car, the full address is for the venue is 45 Broughton Lane, Sheffield, S9 2DF.

Car park A – Attercliffe Road, should be accessed through the entrance on Attercliffe Road (A6178). The arena recommends booking this car park if you are travelling from M1 Junction 34, Meadowhall and the North.

Car park B – Broughton Lane, should be accessed through the entrance on Broughton Lane (A6102). The arena recommends that you use this car park if you are travelling from the M1 Junction 33 and the South.

Those travelling by car are advised to book their spot in advance. You can do so here.

There is no charge if you chose to bring a bike or motorcycle to a show and park in the arena car park. There is a limited number of metal railings to attach your bike to.

Tickets

Demand has been high to see Take That kick off This Life On Tour in Sheffield. Any remaining tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
