Just months after Miami Dolphins star wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, cancelled his divorce to Keeta Vaccaro and sacked his lawyer, the police were summoned to his property due to an altercation between the pair.
The incident took place back in January 2024 and it is claimed that Hill was on the phone with his cousin, who called the police on him after hearing him screaming at his wife.

Law enforcement arrived and calmed the situation, during which is also claimed he struck the woman with a cigar according to the Miami Herald. The incident began due to an argument over nuptial agreements.
However, since there were no conflicting reports and no evidence of any crime or violence, Hill was not arrested by the officers attending the scene and he later apologized via NBC Sports.
“I lost my true self from what my grandparents raised me to be when I entered the league,” Hill said at the time. “I completely forgot my relationship with God. And it really showed.”
It’s not Hill’s first incident
When he played for the Kansas City Chiefs alongside Patrick Mahomes, Hill was drafted late by the franchise due to outstanding claims of domestic violence against him.
Hill was investigated for an assault on his then-pregnant wife whilst he was also investigation after his son sustained a broken arm, with prosecutors confirming a crime was committed although Hill was found not guilty.
“We are deeply troubled by this situation and are concerned about the health and welfare of the child in question,” Steve Howe, a Kansas prosecutor said at the time. “A child has been hurt.
“So, yes, as a prosecutor, as a father of four kids, yes, it frustrates me when someone hurts a child that you can’t do anything about it.”
Legally, not guilty is an important distinction from innocent. Not guilty often means there was not enough evidence to convict “beyond reasonable doubt”, whilst innocent means the person could not/did not commit the crime.
