IBEDC creates more customer care offices, pledges to improve service delivery

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) on Tuesday said that it had created 13 new Customer Care Offices in Ogun, as the first phase of its commitment to improve service delivery.

The Company’s Media Officer, Ms Busolami Tunwase, who disclosed this in a statement in Ibadan, assured that plans were underway to promote excellent service delivery across its franchise.

She said that the newly created offices would ensure easier accessibility and convenience for customers.

According to her, it will lead to stronger interactions, feedback and also facilitate robust and quick responses to customers’ enquiries and complaints.

Speaking at the inauguration of the offices, Mr John Ayodele, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), noted that the expansion of its customer care offices was a deliberate attempt to bring services closer to the customers.

He said: “As a customer-oriented company, we are constantly developing initiatives and services that will deliberately bring us closer to the customers, right where they live or do business.”

Ayodele stated that the offices were strategically located across Ogun in Owode-Yewa, Itele, Ilogbo, Magboro, Ogijo, Ilaro, Ifo, Mowe, Imo, Ago- Iwoye, Ijebu- Ife, Ashimolowo and Olumo communities.

He noted that the offices were located far from the regional office at Abeokuta, to remove the stress of travelling long distances to get complaints resolved.

Ayodele, however, urged customers to take advantage of the customer care office nearest to them, to enjoy better and faster service, in addition to their 24/7 Customer Care platform 07001239999 and [email protected]
