The storage unit has been popular among shoppers, with many revealing they have been struggling to get their hands on one because it keeps selling out.

One mother, from Perth, said she purchased the stand ‘all in prep’ for her son’s ‘entry into the school world’.

‘How awesome is this entryway storage? I’ve stored school bag, lunch box, water bottles, hats, shoes, sunscreen and hand sanitiser to make life easier when leaving the house in the mornings,’ she wrote on Facebook.

One man used the storage unit to create a stylish space to surprise his mother.

‘I just finished putting it together and dressing it up for her with a few new décor items I picked up, all mostly from Kmart as well. I.m actually stoked with the end result and kind of jealous,’ he said.

‘Safe to say mum is also loving her new space. Now I’m secretly wishing I had kept it for my own home.’

Many parents added boxes to the shelves so they can keep their children’s school uniforms organised while others made it a ‘school station’ for all their supplies.

‘I’m so in love with it – such a great purchase,’ one mother said, while another added: ‘Absolutely love it. Easy to set up, and having the perfect place to hang and store all our kids bags was great.’

Besides keeping school supplies, others are using the storage units in other parts of their home, including one who used it to store all her toiletries and bath towels in the bathroom and another to display her incredible greenery collection.

‘I used this in my hallway for displaying indoor house plants. I was able to leave shelves off to get some space I wanted. Good price for quality and a handy piece of furniture,’ one shopper wrote.

A second said: ‘No more clutter of bags on the ground… It’s been a few weeks of use and so far so good,’

And a third added: ‘We use it in the bathroom as we don’t have bathroom storage. Towels folded down the side, washing basket in the big section and linen in containers in the bottom. It’s perfect for what we need it for.’
