LeBron James is back in the gym following a scary few days for the basketball star.

His world was turned upside down on Monday when his son, Bronny James, suffered a cardiac arrest at practice and was rushed into hospital.

The 18-year-old was treated in intensive care in Cedars-Sinai before eventually returning home on Thursday as he and his family progress with a prognosis.

Footage shared on Thursday showed LeBron working out with prodigy AJ Dybantsa outside LA on the same day Bronny was discharged as he looked to return to as much normality as possibly following the week’s events.

He also thanked supporters for sending their thoughts and positive messages following the events.

He wrote on his Twitter account: ‘I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers.

‘We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us! #JamesGang.’

The New York Times reported that Dybantsa is in Los Angeles with his father to meet agents as he looks to progress his career.

The prodigy reportedly met with representatives from James’ agency, Klutch Sports, before working out with the NBA legend.

The workout was originally meant to take place on Wednesday, but was put back a day after Bronny’s cardiac arrest.

And Dybantsa thanked LeBron for agreeing to meet him despite the emergency off the court.

‘Didn’t know what was going to happen to his son, but even though it took him an extra day, he still showed up and worked out,’ the Brockton, Mass. native said.

‘I felt for the man [Lebron James],’ Ace Dybantsa, AJ’s father added. ‘After what he’s been through, he showed up, put on a good face and worked with the kid. I had chills.’
