Jesse Lingard has spoken out for the first time since sacking his agents after posting a defiant social media post.

As reported by Mail Sport, Lingard dismissed his representatives in his dramatic bid to secure a deal with a new club this year.

Alvaro Fernandez will also leave with Benfica a likely destination.

The full back is at Granada but Benfica are ready to agree a loan with an obligation to buy. United would retain sell-on and buy-back options.
