The supermodel, 37, posted a heartfelt tribute to her beloved nan on Instagram on Wednesday, praising Ann for making her the woman she is today.

Miranda continued: ‘You are the heart of our family. You’re the reason we’re all so close. You’re the reason we have faith. You’re the reason we are all cheeky. You’ve put a twinkle in all our eyes.’
‘You’ve brought so much light and love into this world through everyone you have met. Everyone who has met you has been uplifted by your presence. You’re the reason I am who I am,’ she continued.
The skincare mogul thanked her grandmother for teaching her life skills such as cooking, dressing, praying, looking after herself and caring for her family.

‘You’re our compass and you’ll continue to be that compass for me and our children for the rest of our lives,’ she added.
Miranda also thanked Ann for teaching her how to have a sense of humour and compassion, and promised to continue her nan’s legacy for the rest of her life.
‘Your love, kindness and generosity of spirit will never be forgotten. Until I see you in heaven, please know you’ll always be my sunshine,’ she wrote.

Miranda went on to pay tribute to her grandfather Pete, Ann’s late husband of 60 years, who was recently laid to rest.
‘Give Pa a big hug from me. I love you both more than words could ever express,’ she concluded.
The sad news comes just weeks after Miranda announced she had buried her beloved grandpa.

‘Today we laid my grandfather’s body to rest, but his spirit will continue to live through our family and all those he loved,’ she wrote on Instagram on February 15.
‘One of my favourite recent memories with my Pa was listening to Glenn Miller, enjoying the sunshine on our backs and smelling the gardenia from our garden that Hart had picked for us. It was truly a heavenly moment,’ she continued.
Miranda hinted that Pete had been dealing with a serious illness before his death.
‘He had defied the odds and lived longer than the doctors had expected. And even though we all knew that his time on this earth was coming to an end it didn’t make his passing any easier,’ she wrote.
Calling him her ‘rock’, Miranda went on to describe Pete as a ‘gentle yet strong man’ who had ‘tremendous faith and a strong heart’.
