Simmering down a touch now…

Things have just simmered down a tiny bit as the shock of that first goal begins to fade and the Cherries are starting to creep out of their own box.

A brilliant ball over the finds Solanke inside the box, but he does well to hold off Shaw and recycle the ball instead of testing Onana.

Few more touches on the ball from the visitors now, which won’t go amiss as they look tor egain their breath…

GOAL at Molineux…

We’ve had some very vocal support for Cooper from Forest fans at Wolves, and it seems to be doing the trick, with Harry toffolo getting the Tricky Trees ahead after just 15 minutes-or-so at Molineux.

All-square still in the other two games, with Brighton hosting Burnley and Brentford away to Sheffield United.

Another corner to United

So United are behind, but they’ve bounced back really well, and are dominating possession and territory.

The most recent attack sees McTominay win a corner with a shot from outside the box, but Fernandes cross is too deep and Maguire can’t get any purchase on it.

Cherries look for the counter, but United stop them short.

United already penning Bournemouth in

It was a sluggish start, but it’s all United at the moment.

They seem to be targeting the right-hand side of the Cherries defence and it keeps pinging over that side from deep.

Shaw now puts a ball into the box, but Bournemouth skipper Neto claims well.

Bournemouth ahead, but United are already penning them in in the hunt for an equaliser.

What a start at Old Trafford!

Well now, how do United react from here?

They’ve got a chance from a corner now, after Reguilon tries to pick out Fernandes with a cute cut back inside the box.

It goes short to Garnacho whose cross is well blocked.

The ball then comes back in from deep but Neto does fantastically to deny Maguire a header dipping just below the bar.

It’s a great start at Old Trafford!

GOAL! Man Utd 0-1 Bournemouth!

Solanke gets his first ever goal against United inside five minutes.

It’s a poor ball out from Reguilon from the left of the back four which is pounced upon in midfield.

The Cherries take it out to the right-hand side of the box and put a cimple ball across the box, where Solanke the former Liverpool man is waiting on the spot to poke home from close range!

Jittery start for Onana

Well Solanke is already down in the box after just a minute, but there are no claims for a penalty.

A short pass back for Onana from Shaw sees a coming together between the goalkeeper and striker, but there’s nothing coming from it.

Hardly what United fans will want to see to settle the nerves!

Underway around the grounds

We’re live in each of our four games across the country, too.

Reminder, we’ll be bringing you updates from all the 3pm kick-offs.

Away we go!

And we’re live at Old Trafford!

The visitors get us going on a wet afternoon in Manchester.

Dark, dark Old Trafford

It’s only 3pm but it looks like we’re the late kick-off here – it’s so dark at Old Trafford under the grey clouds and the seasonal weather.

The spotlights are on around the ground as the players stand in the rain, waiting to exchange pleasantries.

They’re ready to go!

Ths hosts look very relaxed in the tunnel at the moment, lounging against the wall as they wait for the rest of their team-mates to join them.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, are chomping at the bit stood at attention waiting for the nod to make their way out into what sounds like a booming Old Trafford.

All kicking off at Old Trafford

It’s all kicking off at Old Trafford before the game.

Not only is there a special show from the mascot -Fred the Red – but there’s a head of state in attendance too!

Iceland’s president and a giant Red Devil – we’ve got ourselves the beginnings of a great dinner party going here.

The visitors have been out there too going through the gears ahead of kick-off, which is a little under 10 minutes away now.

It’s a grey, wet and chilly Old Trafford awaiting these two teams – so no surprises to see a few gloves and snoods out there today.

A very cold Rashford is out warming up

A very cold looking Rashford has been out there getting warm.

He’s on the bench once again, after Ten Hag hinted that he could miss out entirely after struggling with an illness in midweek.

A quick look behind the scenes…

Cherries on a run against UCL teams

As we’ve seen, Bournemouth are in pretty good nick right now, but they’re actually got a pretty good record against sides that finished in the top four the season before.

They’ve won three in their last six such games, beating Liverpool last March and Spurs in May, and beat Newcastle last month – it took them 33 games to manage the same feat last!

Can they make it four this afternoon?

Imagine the feeling walking down that tunnel and out onto the pitch with 74,000 fans shouting themselves raw…

Martial has the chance ‘to prove’ his ability today

For those of you wondering why United’s big summer signing has been dropped to the bench, Ten Hag has revealed it’s to give Hojlund a rest.

But it’s a big chance for Martial, who the Red Devils manager insists has a chance ‘to prove’ himself after a ‘less good’ performance against Newcastle.

Varane also still out the side

So Rashford is out on the bench, with £72m man Hojlund joining him and Varane still left out in favour of Shaw and Maguire.

What do we make of that line-up United fans?

Two changes for the hosts

So Rashford does make the bench despite illness confirmed by Ten Hag, but the Red DEvils make two changes.

Out comes Hojlund for Martial, and Lindelof makes way for Reguilon at left back.

For the Cherries Tavernier is back in the side in a slight tweak from Iraola, with Sinisterra back on the bench after facing Palace in midweek.

And the visitors will look like this…

Here’s how the hosts will be lining up today!

Good memories for Bournemouth…

Not a bad memory to have in the back of your mind when you head to Old Trafford…

Chris Wilder didn’t have the best return to Sheffield United taking on Liverpool in a 2-0 defeat with the Reds flying high in second at the moment.

But his side have received something of a boost this week with Brentford on their way up for a 3pm clash.

Bryan Mbeumo is facing some time on the sidelines after picking up an injury, with the Bees now without one of their more potent attacking stars.

You can read more on that one ahead of this afternoon’s game with Sheffield United below.

All smiles down at Bournemouth!

The Cherries have been in great form at the moment, despite a relatively rough start to life under Iraola.

Bournemouth have only lost once in their last six Premier League games, winning four and drawing one, with that tie coming against Manchester City (6-1).

In that run they’ve beaten Burnley, Newcastle, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace, holding third-placed Aston Villa to a 2-2 draw.

With United struggling for form of late, this could be an interesting clash indeed!

Red Devils were in nice and early today

The Red Devils were in nice and early getting ready for action against the in-form Cherries this afternoon…

Cooper under pressure?

We’ll be turning back to United just shortly, but one of the biggest stories from the week is brewing away down in Nottingham.

Steve Cooper – who took the club to the top-flight and survived last sason’s relegation battle – is facing reported pressure on his position at the helm.

But do the fans share the reports feelings of their owner, Evangelos Marinakis?

Check out RIATH AL-SAMARRAI’S comment below.

Plenty of action coming up for you

So aside from our headline billing for today, we’ve also got another three games from across the country.

Brighton take on Burnley down on the South Coast, whie Wolves play host to Nottingham Forest over at Molineux, before we travel a little further north to Sheffield, as the Blades face Brentford at Bramall Lane.

It’s a hefty day with plenty going on – and that’s all before Arsenal’s trip to Aston Villa, with the Gunners looking to become the first team since, well, Arsenal, to beat Villa at Villa Park.

We’ll also be bringing you coverage of that one later on, with kick-off scheduled for 5.30pm.

In addition to that win against Chelsea in midweek which will have done wonders for confidence ahead of today’s clash, it was a great week at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils picked up not one but two gongs on an individual level, with Ten Hag and Maguire winning Manager and Player of the Month awards.

Check that one out at the link below.

He’s come under fire in recent weeks for his poor form, but could United be without Rashford today?

The England man came off the bench against Chelsea a few days ago, but he might not even make the subs, as Erik ten Hag confirms he has been struggling with illness.

Read the story below for more on Rashford’s fitness ahead of today’s game!
