Famous footballers know a thing or two about the limelight, but it appears their daughters welcome fandom as well.
With the likes of Dennis Wise and Frank Leboeuf having moved upstairs and away from the daily glare, the next generation have stepped in front of the cameras.
It turns out that a couple of former footballers’ daughters are talented at horse riding – a sport where you really don’t want a dressing room scrap with your four-legged team-mate.
Others have been absorbed by wanderlust and treat fans to glimpses of captivating locations.
One or two even seem to quite like football.

Gemma Owen starred on the 2022 series of Love Island and has since seen her fame rocket as she now has more than 1.9 million followers on Instagram.

But not only that. Owen has the distinction of being an international dressage rider, having represented Team GB, and has a separate account for that pursuit with nearly 250,000 followers.
Gemma turned out for the British team at the junior European Championships in 2021 aged just 17 and has done much to raise the profile of the sport, posting about her life travelling Europe and competing.

She told MailOnline last year: ‘My dad has pushed more with sport but my mum on the other side has always drilled it into me and my sisters how important it is to have something of your own and stand on your own two feet financially.
‘They are both unbelievably supportive but I would say my mum has encouraged more of the business side.’
Gemma has also modelled for PrettyLittleThing in the past, proving she has turn her hand to a number of different things.
On Season Eight of Love Island, she entered the villa on the first day and was eventually crowned runner-up alongside Luca Bish, though they have since split up.

Hollie Shearer, 28, is a singer-songwriter whose top single on Spotify has garnered more than 1.3million listens.
