Real Housewives of Sydney star Terry Biviano has a message for critics of the popular reality show.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, the shoe designer and WAG said that some naysayers have taken the outlandish series ‘too seriously’.

She also admits that she’d prefer to get along with her castmates, but is keenly aware that a group of harmonious women doesn’t result in the most thrilling television.

‘I love everyone, truly,’ she gushed. ‘Do I butt heads with some more than others? Absolutely, but that’s television. Nobody wants to see a bunch of women sitting around singing Kumbaya.’

She added, ‘We do butt heads a bit but it’s TV. It’s reality TV. It’s light entertainment. It’s not anything serious.’

Biviano also said that some critics take the ‘Housewife’ title far too literally.

‘It’s actually trying to redefine what a housewife is,’ she explained. ‘We’re complex and diverse and opinionated and all sorts of things.’

The star insisted that she’s one of the more diplomatic women on the cast, stating that she’s ‘not a pot stirrer’.

‘But if I get pushed enough I’ll go there. I’m not afraid,’ she added.

It comes after Nicole’s co-star Victoria Montano revealed producers warned the new stars of the reboot about their behaviour on the new season.

‘They told me there will be no more table flipping, no nastiness like previous years,’ she told The Australian’s Diary.

‘It’s great TV without throwing a drink.’
